Penfriend project with Spain

Students of Giove (III A), Lugnano (II D, III D) and Guardea (II G, III G) have started a new penfriend project. In fact last week they received letters from the school  Colegio Compañía de María Jerez

(Jerez de la Frontera - Spain) and when I gave them the letters it was really a happy moment both for them and for me because I could see their smiling faces while reading the letters. Some of them, as they had time at school, wanted to start writing back immediately, some other will do it at home.

This project allow all the students to be in touch with a teenager from another European country, to know a bit more of a different culture, to use English as a communicative language with a real person and to improve both intercultural and language competence. 

We are really happy to collaborate with this school again because we are now friends since we had a Comenius project some years ago. The fact that we are still working together is one of the most important aim we achieved through the years.
