These last days of school I gave the prizes to the students who took part in these two competitions, they really did a great job!

Photo Competition 2013-2014: "In Wonderland"

Anche quest'anno nei plessi di scuola secondaria di Giove (classi prima e seconda), Lugnano (classi prima e seconda) e Guardea (classe seconda), gli alunni hanno l'opportunità di far volare le ali della loro fantasia partecipando al concorso fotografico "In Wonderland"

Questo il regolamento che verrà affisso anche nelle classi.




Come Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie vede luoghi incantati e personaggi particolari e un po' strani che comunque la accompagnano in un percorso talvolta accidentato, così anche nella vita di tutti i giorni viviamo avventure e incontriamo persone che camminano con noi e ci aiutano a crescere.
Quindi cos'è una meraviglia?
Un luogo, un animale, una persona, una relazione, un tramonto, un sorriso, un abbraccio, un libro, un oggetto, una voce ...

Tutto questo starà a voi ragazzi "fermarlo" in un'immagine con una breve descrizione in "English"!

End of Year celebration in Lugnano

This morning, in Lugnano, we celebrated the end of the school year and in this event the mayor announced the winner of the tale competition (Concorso per il miglior racconto) "Once upon a time there was a beautiful castle" that was an activity we carried out within the Comenius project.

The winner is Tommaso with his tale "Alberto and Selene in the kingdom of Lugnano"

Then Sofia gave the mayor the book with all the winning tales both from this year and last year.

After that we announced the winners of the photo competition who are: Filippo, Ilaria and Giorgia and gave them the prizes too!

After the all these prizes we also delivered the Trinity certificates (the drafts) to all the students who took the exam and passed with very good marks!

Before going home the parents had the chance to see all the posters we realized during the school year showing all the projects we carried out in English such as eTwinning projects, Comenius project, photo competition.

This morning, during the end of year party we gave the prize to the winners of the photo competition.

Here you can see some posters showing the products the students made: they took the photo of an animal and then described it in English.

The winners are: Natalia, Catalina, Sara B., Tania, Matteo, Federica.

Photo competition

Let's start taking pictures!

Here are the rules for the photo competition.

First and second year students will be involved in this competition in the following weeks and they have to take a picture of an animal (ex. cat, dog, fish, tortoise, butterfly, ladybird, hamster, bird, squirrel, cow, sheep, goat, rabbit, chicken, hen, pigeon, horse, donkey, worm, lizard,...).

Enjoy taking the picture and try to be careful and accurate when you write the description of the animal you have in the photo.
