This morning in class I D we reviewed the verb to be. In doing so we played a board game, the pupils had a lot of fun and, I hope, learnt something as well!
I found this board game in the following website:
http://www.eslprintables.com/index.asp but I do not remember the author.
However I'd like to to thank the teacher who invented it.

Here is the procedure to play the game:
1. divide the students in groups of 3 or 4;
2. each group has a die and a copy of the game;
3. the students take turns to throw the die and answer the question of the box they arrived onto;
4. if the answer is correct the player can stay in the box, if not the player has to go back to the previous box;
5. the group decides if the answer is correct (the teacher can help);
6. the winner is the one who first arrives onto the box "finish".
Follow up:
I asked the students to write some questions similar to the ones in the game so to create a class board game next lesson.
grazie...idea da provare

ReplyDeleteHiEva, no it is only a photo and the board game is not my creation. But I created one new board game together with my students and I'll post it soon so you can take that one and edit it too.
