Receiving the first postcards

The first postcards we got are the ones from the other Italian school that takes part in this project that is the school Fracassetti Betti in Fermo.

This morning I gave the pupils the postcards and it was kind of a party!

They were really happy!

They took turns to read all the postcards and read them together in groups of 3 or 4. 

As this morning there were only a few pupils at school (the others were ill), after reading the postcards they immediately wrote a "thank you" message  on TwinSpace: two of them went to the computer and the others told what to write, I helped too,  so it was a cooperative work!

Stonehenge

Who built Stonehenge? 
What was it used for?

How were the stones carried there? 
What is the meaning of the word "Stonehenge"? 
What does it represent? 


These are some of the questions the students asked when they read a text about Stonehenge in their textbook.
I invited them to search info on books and on the net and here is what I produced with some of the info they found, some info I found myself and some pictures I took when I went there.

These are some of the questions the students have to answer for a project at school.
They had a test on Steve Jobs and after that they talked a little bit more about him and discovered they wanted to know more.
