Back to the future: last activities

In the last weeks of school students of class III A worked on some activities within the eTwinning project "Back to the future".  They made presentations on their dream holidays and this was also turned into the "video competition" in cooperation with the teacher of Geography.

Then they analyzed the data concerning the means of transport they use togo to school, within the activity about "saving our planet" and created a presentation of the results together with the teacher of Science.

Then they also gave their opinion on this project using an app called answergarden that allow people to evaluate or to give an opinion on an activity, a project, with one word.

The students presented their project the last day of school to their parents.

After that both students and teachers carried out a final survey about the project to assess and evaluate all the work done.

We really enjoyed working with French and Norwegian students both because we improved our English and ICT skills and also because we had the chance to know people from other European country and their culture.

Pics from the teenagers' world: an e-calendar

The last weeks of school Italian and Finnish students carried out the last activities of the eTwinning project "Pics from the teenagers' world" and created an e-calendar choosing some pics from the ones they had described and shared in the previous activities. They also printed it and hung it in class so that it will be used next school year.

Here is the e-calendar

Students chose these photos among the ones they took and described during the school year as you can see here in these thinglinks

or in these padlets

Students and teachers also gave their opinion on the project and evaluated it using an app called answergarden that allows to write a word on the project.

Some days before the end of the lessons they also got the letters from Finnish students and they exchanged their personal address so to keep on writing even during the summer and I really hope they can make friends and go on being touch with them!

The last day of school students told everything about this project to their parents using a powerpoint presentation and their voices!

This project was really a great one and all the students were involved and liked to take part in it, at the same time they improved their English and their ICT skills and competences.

Down the chocolate road: the poster

During the second half of this school year students of class I A worked on this project searching for info about growing cocoa, the cocoa tree, the history of chocolate, cocoa growing countries and recipes. They worked in small groups and realized files using word and powerpoint. After that they printed their works and realized this poster.

Both students of class I A and I B worked on "chocolate stories": they worked in groups of four and created a story using comics. These stories have been collected in a paper book and in an e-book.

They also sent and received delicious chocolates and you can see some photos in these smilebox slideshow.

Ghost stories in Guardea

This year in class II G students created some ghost stories to practice the simple past.
Some weeks ago we finally displayed all the tales in a peculiar "castle". After that we also went out with students of class I G and the older kids read the tales to the younger ones.

Here is a thinglink with links to the stories.
