Students of III classes we are now starting a project on Human and Civil Rights Movement and for this reason we will look for info on some of the most famous people who fought for this cause.
Here is a thinglink with links on Gandhi that you will use to carry out the following webquest answering these questions.
When and where was he born?
Where did he live?
Where did he work?
What was his job?
Why was he important?
What was the situation like in India during Gandhi's time?
What are the most important achievements of his life?
When and how did he die?
In the padlet below you can share a photo of him, something important he said that you liked, a song or a video on him.
Welcome to teacher Chiara's blog! Questo blog è principalmente rivolto ai miei alunni con l'obiettivo di stimolare in loro interesse e curiosità per la lingua inglese che ci permette di comunicare con tante persone di culture diverse dalla nostra.

Movies and language activities
Within the etwinning project "Making Films, Making Friends" students are creating language activities on movies and on scenes from films they liked.
First they watched a film or a scene and then in groups they created language activities for their mates. To do so Italian students used the Learning Apps (https://learningapps.org/) while Norwegian students used kahoot (https://getkahoot.com/).
Here is a thinglink where we collected all their works. The blue tags are by Norwegian students and the green ones are by the Italian ones. The red tags are scenes from films they liked.
After having created the activities students played each other games and enjoyed a lot!

Let's play EU 60 games
Students from class II G of "L. Da Vinci - O. Nucula" school in Terni prepared a series of online games using the learning apps for their Spanish and French partners of the etwinning project called "Let's play EU 60".
First they read some info on the history of the European Union in class,
then they carried out a webquest to answer to some questions using their personal devices (which was possible due to BYOD guidelines)
and, after having found a lot of info they thought of some games and created them using the Learning Apps http://learningapps.org/
During this activity the students involved got to know the history of the European Union better, improved their English, used their creativity and had fun both creating the games and playing them.
Here is a thinglink with all the games created so far.
